After being all inspired to use the categories from the iheartfaces photo contest for some photos and then missing the deadline, we went outside despite the rain to take our photos anyways. We have been having an UNUSUAL amount of rain for this time of year (normally our rainy season is in June) and there's not a whole lot to do in Japan when it rains. So, to burn some energy, I had the kids go outside and jump in some puddles. It was actually quite chilly, so as soon as they were wet, they got really cold. Needless to say, this didn't last too long, maybe 20 minutes. But, I got some cute photos, and their whining about being cold and wet made them a bit more tired ;)
The first brave puddle jumper:
I love this one because she is in the air, she just doesn't have enough power to get the height, but she was really squatting down before the jump to get herself lifted.
I love the look on his face, he is bracing himself for the coldness he's about to feel from the water:
The group lined up, look at Hazel getting down to get the power to jump:
10.0 landing for Hazel, I love the capture of her splash:
Rain rain go away until June!
